History of the hotel and its origin

The two-storey house was built in the architecture of modern cubism. It is a unique building of this kind in Bratislava. Eva and Janusz Walach founded in 1993 the original Pension Eva with 3 rooms. Gradually they renovated the original building, added 3 more rooms on the present 1st floor and in 2000 they added 2 more floors. Pension Eva became Hotel ARCUS, which provides 13 rooms.

Currently, the hotel is run by their daughter Daniela and her family, who continue the renovations and the ideas of their parents and are constantly expanding the services provided.

Each of our rooms is individually decorated and furnished with eco-friendly materials, giving our guests a unique and sustainable experience. The Arcus garden Hotel hides a beautiful and quiet garden, which provides guests with the opportunity to sit back, relax, host celebrations, brainstorm and many other activities.

Ecology and nature

Arcus garden Hotel is not just a hotel, we strive to reduce our negative impact on the planet with every action we take. That's why we separate waste, collect rainwater, save electricity, and try to make our breakfasts as hygiene-friendly and zero-growth as possible. We support local suppliers as far as possible. When modernising the rooms, we have tried to keep as much of the original furniture and accessories as possible, so that we don't throw things away and give things a second wind. Help us and you to improve life on our planet.

Morning full of energy

We care about the environment is important to us. For this reason, we strive to make our breakfasts as packaging-free and zerowaste as possible, which is why we have prepared an à la carte offer for you. Our fresh pastries are imported by a small family bakery and many other products are from local suppliers and small producers. At breakfast, you will find teas and lemonades from our herb garden.

Hospitality runs in our genes. Your satisfaction and loyalty are what fuel us with new energy, which we continuously give back to you in the form of quality services.

A small and very cosy hotel, tastefully decorated and with spacious rooms, as well as extra armchairs on every floor. The bathroom and equipment are not particularly modern overall, but everything is functional and makes for a pleasant stay (e.g. kettle in the room, cotton pads in the bathroom).

The hot breakfast is cooked to order so immediately fresh others can choose everything over and on request they will also make a delicious coffee from the coffee machine. Beds comfortable, liquid soap in the bathroom, shampoo and shower gel in the shower you don't need to have standard toiletries with you and most importantly clean everywhere. You can also have tea in your room.

Great location, decent 10min walk from the old town centre. Warm and very helpful and friendly staff who were fantastic offering assistance whenever required. Room was very clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast excellent and cooked fresh. Fantastic value for money if you're looking for a warm comfortable friendly place to stay.

Perfect breakfast with kind personel.Very nice view to the garden for relaxing and cozy moments. Nice and safe neighborhood. Beautiful apartments,comfy and with nice bathrooms. The communication with the reception was exceptional.

The staff were very helpful and always smiling. The room was very hot, possibly too hot, but very cozy and comfy. Breakfast was a small buffet but they also had a good choice of hot options freshly prepared and served to the table.

A beautiful, modern, comfortable hotel with small rooms, but which has everything you need. The room is clean, towels too, high-quality free Wi-Fi. For a separate fee, you can order a delicious breakfast and parking in the garage. A good option for a few days.

A classicist palace from the 18th century, where representatives of the French and Austrian Emperors signed the Peace of Pressburg after Napoleon's victory at the Battle of Austerlitz. It is currently a gallery exhibition of a collection of 6 English tapestries from the 17th century and the seat of the mayor of the capital of the Slovak Republic.
